Before I dive into the details, I know what you’re thinking. Don’t you live in Florida? Are there not alligators in Florida? Listen, I hear you and I’m here to tell you that your concerns are valid. However, for whatever reason, whether it be water temperature or some other geographical phenomenon, alligators do not frequent this river float. I did not see any alligators during my 4-hour float and a worker from Adventures Unlimited said alligators are rarely seen. She did mention that sometimes they are seen if there has been heavy rain in the preceding days, so if that’s something you are worried about perhaps keep that in mind.
