We got drinks from the beer company inside and then took them outside to eat. The inside of the beer company had a very distinct smell that we didn’t love. It seemed like it had something to do with brewing. With this in mind, you may want to sit outside, but if you do, make sure it’s not too hot out, because although there were umbrellas, we still baked. Food was 10/10 though.
I cannot say enough good things about this latte! I don’t like super sweet coffee drinks, so I didn’t have high expectations getting coffee from a donut place, but this drink is actually not overpoweringly sweet. And the strawberry milk is a fun twist.
4. George – Brunch
George is definitely a bit pricey, but the portions are massive. These two dishes were the fan favorites!
5. Ruby Slipper – Brunch
Expect a wait if you don’t have a reservation, but the whole experience was great. From the food to the service.
6. Wine Bar – Happy Hour
Definitely take advantage of the discounted wines during happy hour! I believe it’s normally daily until 6pm!
7. Dharma Blue – Dinner
This place is cool because they have sushi and other food, so it can be a good compromise! They also have fun cocktails and do a complimentary birthday dessert!
8. Bear Fruit Bowls & Coffee
LOVE this place because of all the customizations. However, no indoor seating, so maybe avoid during the hottest time of day.
9. Bavaria – Drinks & Pretzels
We think this place is pricey, but it can be fun because the atmosphere is lively and the food is unique! I don’t like how they give you only bottled water though. Still, the pretzels are top notch.
I had the same frowny-face reaction to the single-use plastic bottles. Ugh! Surprising in a town located on the gulf. You’d think they’d be more aware of the dangers to oceans and wildlife. But the pretzel looks yummy! Customers should BYOB of water in a refillable bottle and let the manager know they like everything but the plastic bottles. A large self-serve water cooler with paper cups would be a nicer option.
